Casey McFarland was an outstanding defensive specialist while playing volleyball at UCSB, reaching the NCAA Regional Finals in 2001. Casey graduated Cum Laude in 2004 from UCSB, earning a BA in Commumications and minors in Applied Psychology and Sports Management. Continuing her education, Casey received a Masters in Public Health from SDSU in 2009, earning Summa Cum Laude honors for her work in Health Promotion. An active beach player, Casey competed in the World Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Federation in 2008. She has been coaching high school, indoor and outdoor camps, and club volleyball for 9 years and she is entering her 3rd year as a Wave coach.
