A 4-year varsity letterman in volleyball at Torrey Pines HS, Brennan Dean moved on to Chico State to continue his passion for the game. He played another four years at Chico, and was named team captain his junior and senior years. Brennan earned at BA in Psychology with a minor in Ethics in 2003 and began coaching club volleyball at Delta Valley. His 2006 16-1 girls team qualified for the ‘06 Junior Olympics. Dean earned an MA in Counseling (4.0 GPA) from Pt. Loma Nazarene University and was offered a Counselor position at Torrey Pines HS. At Torrey, Dean has coached on both the boy’s and girl’s side, and he has spent the last three years on the Wave staff. Brennan earned a Bronze Medal in Open as an assistant 17-1 coach at the 2008 Junior Olympics and a Silver Medal in Open as the 18-1 Head coach at the ’09 JO’s. He is married to his wife, Kristen.
