Jessica graduated from Penn State where she was a setter for the Nittany Lions from 2000-2004. During her time at Penn State she was selected to the All-Big Ten Freshmen Team, led the conference in service aces, was named an All-Big Ten Scholar Athlete and contributed to multiple NCAA top ten finishes and top two finishes in the Big Ten Conference. Jessica's international youth volleyball experience includes playing for the 1999 USA Youth National Team which traveled to Italy and Portugal for the Four Nations Tournament and World Championships respectively, and touring Europe with the Bring It USA program playing several matches in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, and Germany. Hayden was awarded a BS in Psychology from Penn State and she also earned an MBA from American Inter- Continental University in 2009. Hayden has coached with the Virginia Elite Volleyball Club the last 5 years. Her Elite 17's won the East Coast Championships in 2008 and they earned a 17 Open bid for the2009 Junior Olympics in Miami. Hayden has been an equestrian rider since she was 6-years-old and is excited to be moving back to San Diego County.
